I've been photographing Lenore McLean and her family for more than 10 years. On assignment for the Herald, I first met the 72-year-old rancher. I had no idea that I would come to call this amazing lady one of my dear friends, a relationship that includes pop-in visits from my son Hunter and I. Recently the Herald sent myself and columnist Valerie Fortney to the McLean ranch to get a firsthand account of Lenore's friendship with the legendary Florence Weadick. McLean grew up next to the Weadicks and has many fond memories.
